The hotel is stylish and incredibly beautiful. We had a separate bedroom, which was very convenient. the amenities such as a hairdryer, guest toiletries, and bath sheets were very handy. the staff was incredibly attentive and amicable. They offered wake-up service and ironing free of charge. the location is great, relatively close to Parroquia de San Joaquin Church and right by Bacalar Center and the lagoon. I would happily recommend this hotel to others.

location: the hotel was just next door to the la playita restaurant for reasonable prices, casa hormiga, and the lagoon and town. the room we had included climate control, an individual safe and a dining area.

This venue served as a wonderful place to stay for one night with its fantastic location right next to La Playita restaurant and the lagoon.

I had always wanted to visit Los Aluxes Bacalar, so I chose Casa Hormiga for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find free private parking available at the hotel. This feature made it very convenient for us to explore the area without worrying about our car.

I absolutely adored the beautiful Moroccan-style decoration throughout the hotel. It was like being transported to a magical place. The general areas were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for senior people like myself. I also appreciated that the hotel was accessible and had ramps and elevators, making it convenient for us with mobility needs.

I would have loved if the hotel offered more activities and services specifically catered towards senior people. Perhaps some gentle exercise classes or organized tours that are a bit slower paced.
